Photos on this "powerhouse juke" coming soon!

Being a proud owner of one of these magnificent machines for many years, it'll be hard for me to talk about it in an unbiased fashion.  So I'll start off by saying this is by far, the loudest and best sounding CD jukebox ever produced.  Period!

And since CD jukeboxes are a thing of the past in the commercial field, there can never be another model to replace it in the future.  For one, it has a killer Mosfet type amplifier.  Although commonly used today, back in the '80s this was a revolutionary form of transistor that maintained cool operation and steady output.

I was once told by an engineer at Rockola Corporation that it would add another $900 to the cost of a new jukebox to use a Mosfet amplifier.  The maximum distortion rate is .01%.

To be blunt, this amp cranks!  You remember the old Memorex commercial where the guy is sitting in front of a speaker with his hair blowing back?  That's me on a Friday night with a black Russian firmly in my grip.

No jukebox ever sounded like this before.  Not just louder than you can stand, but startling clarity and immense dynamic range.  An extremely efficient sound system consisting of:

Two 12 inch bass reflex woofers, two 5x7 inch poly cone mid range speakers and two 2¼ x 6 inch horn tweeters.  Enough power to fill an auditorium.  Utterly amazing.

You'll hear guitar licks and high freqs on your favorite tunes that you've never heard before.  You'll hear the sound of a singer breathing in before belting out a rasping shout.

And that's just the sound system.  Some folks feel the "Crusader" can come across as a large stand alone ATM machine.  I disagree.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think these are beauties.

But here's the clincher.  This is the world's first CD jukebox.  Always the innovator, Seeburg joined forces with SONY and came up with the likes of this marvelous monster.  They took SONY's already proven commercial player unit and placed it smack dab in two front of 2 glass windows, so you can watch it work.

BTW, it was years later that any other jukebox manufacturer had any form of CD player in the market.  They scrambled to catch up with Seeburg by using car and home players with 6 to 10 CDs.  Theirs were a joke.  Seeburgs already had 60.

The CDs are stored in a shock mounted, dust proof enclosure that allows removal of all the CDs in an instant with one hand.  The CDs set vertically in a rack that can be taken out for easy CD swapping.

Even the title card holders can be easily removed to insert new tunes.  While we're at it, a unique feature is that two people can thumb through the title pages at the same time even skipping from one end of the list to the other in an instant.  No need to push buttons and wait for pages to scroll through one at a time.

There are so many other cool and unique features on the "Crusader" that no other jukebox company ever even attempted to copy.  You probably know that all jukeboxes have optional remote controls available.  Early ones were hard wired.  Then came those with infrared beams that were line of sight.

Line of sight meant that you had to aim your hand held controller at the front of the jukebox, like with your TV, to get it to respond.  Seeburg implemented a remote control using radio frequency,  just like a garage door opener that you didn't have to aim at anything.

So, with the "Crusader" you can control your jukebox from another part of the house, upstairs or even outside doing the gardening.  Way TOO cool!

We sold a ton of these back in the '90s and this particular unit has been in our family for about a decade.  I gave everybody one of them years ago and now this one has come back home.  I had our resident Seeburg guru rebuild the SONY unit and even make modifications learned over the years to improve its performance.  BTW, he is a rarity these days.  He's a Certificated SONY technician.

Look, if I haven't convinced you that you NEED this juke in your place by now, you must already have one.

***WARNING: This machine might not be suitable for apartment, condo, townhouse or mobile home use where propagation of audio frequencies is frowned upon.

Remote Control Included

We ship worldwide and to insure proper care we crate the jukeboxes ourselves.  Call us with your shipping address and we'll get you a competitive shipping/insurance quote (prices vary according to value and destination), unless you'd like to pick it up or have us deliver it in the Southern California area.

Our experience in servicing jukeboxes bought elsewhere through the Internet is that many sustain some kind of damage in transport.  When you buy a jukebox from us we make sure the components inside are properly secured.  In some cases we can send you detailed photos and instructions on how to unpack the unit and get it up and running.

"We only sell quality reconditioned jukeboxes that we'll be happy to service in the future.
This we've done since 1971."
