This 1962 AMI Continental-2 we are offering is currently being restored. AMI Continentals are our second most requested jukebox behind the 1959 Seeburg Model 222. I get requests to buy a Continental from us about twice a month.

This is the second edition of the AMI Continental. Most folks don’t know that between the two editions there are 14 versions with different features. You could have mono or stereo, 100 or 200 selections, 45 rpm or 33 1/3 rpm/45 rpm intermixed, manual selection or electric selection. So that’s 14 different combinations in all.

This jukebox is the XJDB version with all the good stuff. This is the El Dorado of Cadillacs. This one is the Top of the Line” with all the bells and whistles including 200 selections, stereo, 33 1/3/ 45 rpm auto-mix.

There can only be one Top of the Line version and this is it. The “Top of the Line” for the first AMI Continental would be the XJDA 200 model.

BTW, the first Continental is said to be stereo, but you have to have a remote speaker to do that. It would be hard to match the remote speaker to the sound of the cabinet’s. The AMI Continental-2 is actually a stereo system with no need to add a remote speaker. I have some ideas on how we could make this model a stunning “Hybrid” with some choices of cabinet applications. You can’t ignore the fact that both of these AMI Continentals (1 & 2) were crazy, wild looking machines.

Feel free to search the internet for “1962 AMI Continental 2” and see what you get. Very few of these gems are ever up for sale. This will be a beautifully reconditioned jukebox customized to the buyer's cosmetic choices and comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty, good anywhere in the world.

This jukebox is not perfect and may have blemishes and cosmetic distractions not visible in the accompanying photos.
